What is the Trading Online Voucher (TOV)?

We get asked a lot what is the Trading Online Voucher also known as the TOV? So the Trading Online Voucher (TOV) is a grant awarded from the Local Enterprise Office. It helps small businesses get a better online presence. The money awarded from the scheme is to be used to set up or update an e-commerce website but can also be used to help the business owner invest in photography, videography, SEO services and online marketing and advertising. At the present moment the voucher stands at 50%. The LEO will pay out a max of €2,500. This means that a small business can spend up to €5,000 and receive €2,500 towards their project. However, just because this is the max amount of money the LEO will pay out does not mean that the business owner has to spend this much. They can spend more or less depending on their budget but should only expect to receive 50% of the cost up to a maximum of €2,500. This is an excellent initiative for small businesses around Ireland. It gives them the chance to get online and start generating sales in this manner. Especially in such uncertain times with the current pandemic and restrictions constantly changing, it provides a certain channel for business owners to market and sell their products and services. Here at VIP Solutions we think you would be crazy not to avail of the Trading Online Voucher. Our team is always available for a chat and we are more than happy to talk anyone through the application process. Every client we have worked with to help fill out their forms has received the 100% of the voucher.
